Position Summary:

As our Web Content Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the presence of our digital experiences. You'll manage and optimize all aspects of our website content, from planning and execution to analysis and optimization. Your goal will be to ensure our sites remain fresh, engaging, and rank high on search engine results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Management :
    • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and strategies.
    • Regularly update and manage content across numerous WordPress sites.
  • WordPress Expertise :
    • Handle all technical aspects of WordPress management, including theme and plugin selection, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • SEO Optimization :
    • Collaborate with copywriters and program directors to optimize content and ensure our site ranks competitively on search engines.
    • Manage content SEO, metadata, and tagging.
  • Analytics :
    • Monitor site performance through tools like Google Analytics; analyze user engagement and behavior to inform content strategies.
    • Stay current on the latest industry trends and improve the digital user experience.
  • Collaboration :
    • Work closely with the marketing, design, and development teams to produce content consistent with our brand message, aesthetics, and strategies.
  • Training :
    • Provide WordPress training and support to team members as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of content management experience.
  • Proven experience managing content for WordPress websites, including familiarity with the Gutenberg editor and popular plugins.
  • Experience with Kadence, WP Fusion, Yoast SEO, Gravity Forms, and Relevanssi Search is highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, associated tools, and content optimization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a creative mindset.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web development principles is a plus.
