Diné Source is seeking an Intelligence Research Specialist, with technical writing experience, to provide subject matter expertise (SME) and experienced capability developer contractor support to the Requirements Determination Directorate (RDD), Intelligence-Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (I-CDID), Futures and Concepts Center (FCC), Army Futures Command (AFC). The position is for a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional responsible for providing technical expertise in the modeling and analysis of military systems and their broader system-of-systems architectures. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) architecture in accordance with the Army and Joint Capabilities and Integration Development System (ACIDS/JCIDS). Work independently across multiple functional teams to catalog and maintain overall enterprise architecture documentation and technical requirement traceability. Develop and produce moderately to highly complex architecture designs and products that depict the specific operational nature of Military Intelligence (MI) operations at all echelons. Collaborate closely with government stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand business needs, goals, and requirements. Conduct data analysis, interview subject matter experts, and uncover unique data pertinent to a particular architecture description. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress, technical decisions, and potential challenges. Define structure(s) and relationships between requirements, capabilities, design, development, integration, and implementation of unique MI disciplinary procedures, utilizing Operational, Capability, and Systems viewpoints. Establish technical objectives for a specific project, deliver detailed technical presentations, and work closely with the customer and senior management to ensure government guidance and specifications are met. Work independently and participate continuously in research, literature searches, and document reviews relevant to the architecture being developed. Create, publish, and post architecture products supporting Army MI capabilities development. Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience): U.S. Citizen with active Top Secret security clearance. 5-10 years' experience developing system architecture diagrams that visualize how applications connect with infrastructure elements (preferred). Four-year degree in business administration, computer network architecture or related field (preferred). Practical knowledge of DoDAF and/or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) (preferred). Strong understanding and working knowledge of Army networks, communications and data architectures and infrastructures. Ability to work independently or in a team framework. Must be capable of working under tight timelines with minimal oversight while managing various priorities and deliverables. Must be able to exercise mature judgment and make independent decisions in accordance with established policies, rules, and procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively on complex projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations verbally and in writing with internal and external organizations. Experience with briefing techniques and methods, delivering findings to non-technical audiences, including senior military or government leaders. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in business administration, computer network architecture, or related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to complex challenges. Excellent communications skill (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
