The Flight Avionics Department develops guidance section electronics architectures for development programs, supports subsystem analyses, integration and test, provides program leadership as well as GPS/IMU support. We partner with several Electrical Engineering Departments that provide the detail designs of our electrical products. We are seeking entry-level candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today's cutting-edge technology to develop electrical subsystems. What You Will Do Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA/component levels. Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation. Performing analog and digital circuit analysis and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronics subsystems in simulation. Identifying and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updates. Conducting integration & test at the subassembly level Develop interconnect models between various subsystems. Generate test procedures/plans and document test results Generate and Present task results to small technical teams Ability to work in either a team or individually Potential travel to test areas for support/troubleshooting issues, less than 10% Able to lift 15 lbs Qualifications You Must Have Must be pursuing a Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major. This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore by the start of summer 2025. Basic lab or other experience with one or more of the following: RF, analog, digital, mixed signal, circuit design or analysis. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
