We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction and will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects ranging from roadwork, earthworks, and utilities to site development. This role is vital in ensuring that we deliver competitive bids while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

Description

  • Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bid preparation.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing.
  • Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and time requirements to develop project estimates.
  • Prepare bid packages, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Track changes and updates in project scope to ensure estimates are aligned with final designs.
  • Present and negotiate estimates with clients and subcontractors.
  • Continuously update cost databases and stay informed on industry trends.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Eperience in civil construction estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and cost structures.
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
