Onsite We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager in the Precision Fires & Maneuver (PF&M) portfolio within the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Business Unit. In this job, you will be responsible for the guidance, management, and administration of a diverse portfolio of contracts within the growing Maneuver Systems and Tube-Launched, Optically Tracked, Wireless-Guided (TOW) Missile Engineering Services. Portfolio will include Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Development, FFP and Cost Type contracts split between an established and growing product portfolio. Additionally, this role will support the various phases of the program lifecycle which may include development, sustainment, and integration with both DoD and Prime customers. The position will be well suited for a highly motivated, well-organized person who enjoys working in a exciting, collaborative team environment. Your responsibilities will include developing creative approaches to solving problems while employing sound change management and communication skills. This position is onsite in Tucson AZ and is expected to have 10-15% travel requirement to customer locations. What You Will Do: Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts execution, as well as general contract administration.
Review estimate at completion (EAC).
Collaborate with the Contracts Lead, Program Directors, Senior Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Proposal Manager, Business/Estimating and Supply Chain to construct, submit and negotiate pricing proposals.
Support program management and execution reviews.
Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies.
Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies.
Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks.
Examine and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Identify, mitigate, and drive the resolution of contractual issues as they may arise. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the F ederal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) and related government regulations and contracts Experience with negotiation and administration of contracts and/or subcontracts
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer: Relevant degrees in contracts/law/supply chain/finance and advanced degrees such as Juris Doctor, J.D. or MBA
Professional, effective written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of internal and external customers; thorough analytical skills; excellent interpersonal skills; be adaptable to a variety of business situations
Experience working in an exciting environment and ability to multi-task across multiple programs
Demonstrated record of responsiveness with excellent time management and organization skills
Experience with Firm Fixed Price Development contracts, contractual risk mitigation and change management.
Experience in contract & financial structures such as pricing strategies, policy & procedure and / or compliance principles
Must be able to recognize business and contractual issues in program performance implement solutions; carry to completion, while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision
Familiarity with Intellectual Property, license agreements, teaming agreements, and Export/Import
Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Current active DoD Secret clearance

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
