Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $114,000 $160,160 annually depending on experience
Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000 available

About the Hospital:

Join our 380-bed hospital that proudly handles approximately 1,800 deliveries each year. Our facility includes a state-of-the-art Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 30 beds, dedicated to providing exceptional care for critically ill and premature infants.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our Level III NICU team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering advanced care to our neonatal patients, working closely with a collaborative healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our youngest patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and management of neonates in the NICU.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of neonatal conditions, including but not limited to respiratory disorders and infections.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform necessary procedures within your scope of practice, such as intubation and line placement.
  • Educate families on their newborn's health, treatment plans, and care protocols.
  • Engage in quality improvement activities and contribute to clinical research initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Neonatal Nursing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or a similar environment.
  • Licensure: Arizona RN license preferred, but not required; NNP certification from an accredited organization.
  • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule:

  • Shifts: Full-time, 18-hour shifts from 2 PM to 8 AM.
  • Monthly Workload: Approximately 9-10 shifts per month.
