Job description

Banner University Medical Group -Tucson is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient rheumatology care. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner with experience, or a new graduate with appropriate training, to be part of an established and growing program.

Service Coverage : M-F 8am-12pm, 1pm-5pm No Call

Workload Assignment: 9 4-hour sessions/week. 16 patients/day

Location: South Campus Rheumatology Clinic

Essential Functions and Required Qualifications:

DEA with prescriptive authority required

FNP or ACNP designation with AZ license eligibility

Ambulatory experience preferred, rheumatology experience a plus

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care

Dedication to providing excellent care in a dynamic, multi-specialty, outpatient practice
