The Systems Design and Architecture organization is seeking a Systems Engineering Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the Joint Multi-Effects Warhead System (JMEWS) program in the Tomahawk portfolio. This role is an onsite role. The program is amid verification, culminating in the program System Verification Review (SVR). The SE IPTL will be responsible for coordinating verification as well as the program level review with the customer. The SE IPTL will be working cross functionally to ensure all requirements are verified in preparation for the SVR. This will also include coordination with supplier partners, and government customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with prior lead and systems engineering experience. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Obtain in-depth technical knowledge of the Naval Strike Missile subsystems Manage IPT performance by reviewing labor actuals, supporting analysis of actuals vs plan, and provide schedule status to Leadership. This position requires Earned Value certification within 6 months of start. Maintain requirements and specifications within DOORS and cPDM Apply knowledge of subsystems and collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to maintain subsystem requirements. Interact with Technical SMEs to fully understand subsystems including, identifying and resolving issues and supporting related subsystem trades, analysis, qualification plans, etc. Maintenance of the Requirements Verification Matrix, perform requirements flow-down / allocation and traceability. Development of Verification sheets and understanding of requirements verification. This will require coordination with other cross-functional teams. Domestic travel may be required. Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members PM level 7 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Five (5) years of prior engineering experience Experience capturing system requirements and maintaining system requirements. Experience managing or guiding teams addressing requirements definition, decomposition, and changes. Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer: Experience in missile systems design, integration, test, or flight demonstration Experience with DOORS Experience with MBSE/SysML Experience performing design or requirements development with cross-disciplined Engineering teams Experience using Agile framework development methods and processes Experience driving changes through the CCB process Experience in cPDM Strong interpersonal and communication skills Master's degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
