Mechanical engineers in this department support a variety of design spaces and some of the toughest challenges, often bringing whiteboard concepts to life. What You Will Do Design of structures, assemblies, and some mechanisms
Detailed design and drafting work per ASME Y14.5
Support of development hardware procurement and testing
Management of suppliers/subcontractors
Cross-functional coordination to rapidly mature designs
Qualifications You Must Have This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2025.
Must be pursuing as bachelor's or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
Experience with Creo modeling and drafting
Experience with Windchill and configuration management

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
