What you will do Responsibilities Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) leadership, expert advice, and recommendations to the Standard Missile Program Office (PEO IWS 3A/3B), supporting activities, and prime/support contractors, to ensure that requirements pertaining to planning and execution of Life Cycle Sustainment for Standard Missile are understood, planned for, and delivered in support of program milestones Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) leadership, expert advice, and recommendations to the Standard Missile Program Office (PEO IWS 3A/3B), supporting activities, and prime/support contractors, to ensure that requirements pertaining to planning and execution of Life Cycle Sustainment for Standard Missile are understood, planned for, and delivered in support of program milestones Support the IWS 3A/3B Program Office by providing acquisition, engineering, technical analysis and subject matter expertise (SME) with Integrated Logistics Support for current and future system designs, development, architecting, testing, operations, and sustainment at Raytheon Technologies Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD), Tucson, AZ Assist in acquisitions with Lifecycle Logistics subject matter expertise. Support all major program milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.), review Objective Evidence for all milestone entrance and exit criteria for Integrated Logistics Support impacts Assist in development of Request for Proposal documents, Fact finding and Technical Evaluation assistance, Performance Work Statement/Statement of Work documents, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents, and other related documents Provide logistics planning, analysis, assessment, requirements verification, technical writing and review of documentation, and integration for Standard Missile Programs in development, production, and sustainment Develop, assess, evaluate, and coordinate logistics planning documents to implement a logistics life cycle product support strategy for system fielding, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), sustainment concepts, technical manual (TM) verification, training plans, contractor Provisioning Parts List (PPL) and sparing, system support plans, etc Regularly participate in and facilitate integration/schedule/logistics forums for existing and emerging SM-6 Programs such as logistics working groups, Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT), Fleet Support Working Groups, and provisioning conferences; report progress status/issues/potential impacts and resolution options; manage tasks/actions to closure; and capture information and present in an integrated schedule of events and milestones for senior leadership review Support transition to operations and sustainment activities, and assess operations and maintenance readiness, operational acceptance decisions and Initial Operational Capability (IOC) declaration Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation Provide support to project management, proposal reviews, analysis, and funding recommendations and actions Coordinate and collaborate across the Department of Defense and with other Government agencies, academia, and industry for situational awareness and information sharing Skills you will need Required Skills and Experience: Education: master's degree in a STEM related field Experience: 20+ years of relevant experience Active DoD Top Secret security clearance, which requires US Citizenship (Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.) Active additional proprietary program clearances Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities Ability and willingness to travel, when required, to support oversight, meetings, reviews, etc Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Capability to develop and present briefings related to integrated logistics support (ILS) specifications and requirements to peers and senior management level personnel Familiarity and/or Experience with missile defense component development, test, production, and sustainment Experience with supporting major weapon system design review activities - to include System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Test Readiness Review, and Critical Design Review Proficiency in Defense Acquisition System (DoDI 5000.02) Proficiency in the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements Proficiency in requirements management Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders Strong analytical skills Self-starter - Demonstrate independent ownership of tasking. Position affords opportunity to define path and lead tasks based on technical understanding of engineering community and appreciation of customer needs Desired Skills and Experience: Advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience Familiarity in Contract Data Requirements List development, Data Item Description tailoring, Performance Work Statement/Statement of Work development, or Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development Weapons systems and PHS&T/support equipment development test and evaluation is desirable Understanding of DoD RDT&E programs, processes, directives, regulations, and procedures 20+ years' experience in in DoD acquisition and life cycle management, sustainment, and transition Experience writing and delivering technical documents and briefings
