New Grads Welcome!

Make up to $100,000/ yr in a dynamic yet low-stress work environment with no evening or weekend calls. We need a NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGIST to be part of our team in a successful, state of the art, full service state of the art adult cardiology center. Work alongside 2 board certified Cardiologists and 2 PAs.

Experience : 2-3 years in adult setting preferred but energetic new grads welcome!

Languages : English & Spanish preferred
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS :
Completion of accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required; Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine or Radiology Technology is desired.
New grads welcome, but 2 years recent experience in nuclear medicine, in a hospital or office setting preferred.
Valid Nuclear Medicine California State License.
Valid Certifications as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with either the Nuclear Medicine Technology Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
Venipuncture Certification
BLS certification required.
CPR certification
Duties & Skills: Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies, utilizing efficient and safe processes. Performs related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: patient interviews, instruction, and care, preparation, quality control, calibration, and administration of radiopharmaceutical compounds, execution of patient imaging and therapeutic procedures including computer processing and image enhancement, and laboratory testing.
Measures radioactivity, using Geiger counters, scalers, and scintillation detectors. Calibrates equipment. Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials
Excellent communication skills, ability to write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients and co-workers.
Team player, energetic, with a friendly personality and can-do attitude.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
