Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Material Handler to join our team. The Logistics Material Handler will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the movement of goods and materials through various stages of the supply chain. This role involves managing inventory, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of logistics operations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do: Work with and around energetics
Perform physical validation of material being sent to and received from the production floor ensuring accurate transfer of material
Manage all hardware within area, tracking all quantities and performing cycle counts in SAP
Work closely with engineering, production control and all other support personal to resolve problems
Follow detailed work instructions and processes to ensure safety and compliance
Load/unload inbound/outbound shipments validating material against shipping documentation
Physical movement of hardware with material handling equipment
General housekeeping
Participates in meetings to acquire knowledge necessary to assist in continuance of production operations.
Operate pneumatic and manual tools.
Obtain hazmat endorsement within 1 year of hire.
Obtain a DOT medical examiner's certificate. Qualifications You Must Have: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
The ability to pass Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) background screening
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Class A Commercial Driver's license (CDL) with minimum of two years' experience. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience working in manufacturing environment
Physical warehousing and inventory control experience
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Experience utilizing Microsoft office-based computer systems (Excel, Word)
Experience operating forklift, walker stacker, pallet jack, and other equipment normally associated with loading and unloading trucks
Clear understanding of hazardous material classifications, specifically Class 1
