The Director of Operations directs and oversees the plant day-to-day operations, implements operational policies, objectives, and initiatives, and is responsible for executing operating plans and tactics to attain short and long term financial and operational goals. Costs, quality, delivery, and safety metrics are critical and will need to strong focus to improve and exceed Company and Customer expectations.

Location: Fayetteville, AR

Pay Range: $140,000-160,00 + Bonus

What's the Job?

  • Full P&L Responsibility for the manufacturing site.
  • Develops and establishes the supporting organizations group duties and responsibilities for positions having direct reporting relationship.
  • Develops and establishes standards of performance in key result areas such as operation, utilization, and development of employees, operating efficiency, physical and financial resources and profitability.
  • Assures that corrective action is taken where necessary or desirable.
  • Directs the establishment of manufacturing process and standards, the resolution of manufacturing problems, and the maintenance of production and test facilities to meet established quality standards.
  • Levels labor load consistent with production sales orders, provides adequate work facilities, and equipment.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Five to ten years' experience in a manufacturing/production operations.
  • MUST HAVE experience in Electronic Manufacturing.
  • Experience negotiating contracts in a cost competitive market.
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to deal and relate to people at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner and a fast-paced environment.
