POSITION GOAL
The Walk In Clinic Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing the initial mental health diagnostic assessment, triaging and determining the services needed, solving problems, case coordination, referring to the appropriate clinician for therapy, and providing treatment to individuals and families according to established performance indicators. POSITION DESCRIPTION (this is a Safety Sensitive Position)
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Training and/or Experience)
Master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, or related field (LPC/LCSW)
Licensure as a mental health professional in the State of Arkansas per requirements of the Medicaid OBH Manual
Working knowledge of and ability to use personal computer for e-mail and electronic medical record
Provide clinical supervision as required by OBH
ONGOING REQUIREMENTS:
Maintain licensure
Capacity to function effectively within the context of the cultural beliefs, behaviors, and needs of clients and the community

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must have typing/keyboarding ability to use computer as required. Must be able to communicate by speaking and writing in an understandable manner. Must be able to operate standard office equipment. Mild level of activity including walking, standing, sitting and occasional light lifting. Regular attendance at work is a requirement of this position.
