Job Description:

Join our team as an MRI TECHNOLOGIST .

In this role, the successful candidate Position Summary: Eager, flexible, and responsible for performing all methods of MRI testing.

Job Responsibilities:
Administers MRI procedures by operating computerized MRI equipment and recording devices.
Requiring independent judgment, ingenuity & initiative in applying MRI techniques for imaging diagnosis.

Ensures that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfactory patient identification obtained prior to conducting the procedure.

Documents MRI exams according to procedures.

Informs off-site radiologist of any changes in patient's condition or pertinent findings from the examination & alert the appropriate staff of abnormalities that require immediate attention.
Provides for Patient comfort & arranges equipment for the procedure.
Explains the procedure & equipment to the patient clearly. Provides for patient privacy at all times.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Maintains MRI equipment in proper functioning order. Cleans & prepares equipment for patient application. Sterilizes equipment after each isolation patient in accordance with policies. Performs predetermined, preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree & completion of one year program in MRI; Registered or registry eligible to take the Registry exam or equivalent combination of education & experience.
