We are in search of a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Engineer with a focus on Aerospace. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic business opportunities in the aerospace sector. This position will involve working closely with our engineering and sales teams to design and implement comprehensive strategies to boost our market presence and increase our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record in business development, sales, and customer retention.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the aerospace sector.
2. Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to develop and implement strategic business plans.
3. Maintain a deep knowledge of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
4. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining our products or services to customers and prospective customers.
5. Write and submit detailed technical proposals and bids for new projects.
6. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
7. Negotiate contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
8. Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and after-sales support services.
9. Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
10. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
2. 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace or engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in Technical Sales, Business Development, and Customer Retention.
4. Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to prepare and deliver technical proposals.
5. Strong contract negotiation and account management skills.
6. Experience with electromechanical systems.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative approach for new ideas.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
