About the opportunity
In this position, you will serve as the coordinator for mechanical repair work, maintenance, and overall efficiency of the fleet of vehicles/machines used at The Professional Tree Care, one of the Bay Area's most respected tree care companies.
We believe this is a distinguished role for someone who knows the auto and/or auto parts industry well yet no longer wants to be involved in the day-to-day physical labor of fixing machines. The right person for this role will be computer savvy, able to run reports regarding inventory and labor hours, and able to communicate well via email and with a wide range of people from entry-level mechanics to our Director of Finance.
Reporting to the CEO with a dotted line to the EACC (Executive Assistant to the CEO & head of Corporate Communications), you will schedule, and track mechanical repair projects, monitor inventory, and coordinate with our Project Managers each evening to ensure the equipment needed for the next day's jobs are ready to go. This involves having a large scope of knowledge for automotive parts, repairs, diesel engines, and the ability to communicate well with diverse teams.
About the company
Since 1980, The Professional Tree Care Company has been trusted for tree services throughout Northern California.
