Job description

• This position is currently a remote work position, but the selected candidate might be required to work out of our Brea, California office.

Looking for a Legal Assistant to provide support to two Workers' Compensation Attorneys in the Brea, CA office, the ideal candidate will enjoy a high-volume, paperless environment that is both dynamic and rewarding.

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

    Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Workers' Compensation legal experience in private practice and/or corporate legal practice

  • Responsible for providing effective, accurate and timely legal secretarial support to assigned Attorneys, and assisting in overall support of the office as needed.

  • Demonstrably strong communication skills are required to work with different business partners (e.g., Underwriting/Account Team or Sales) through the assignment life cycle

  • Comply with all applicable court/administrative body rules and requirements, including electronic filing and attorney directions

  • Maintain current, accurate calendar/docket and schedules
