Summary
The Entertainment Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of complex audio, video, and lighting equipment throughout the Resort. The purpose is to sustain the highest level of operational capabilities and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Set-up, break-down, program, operate, and maintain all staging, audio, video, and lighting equipment in the Entertainment Lounge, and assist in the Event Center and across property as necessary.
Handle equipment with care to avoid accidents and damage.
Maintain a neat, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
Must display a strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
Must be punctual and dependable in reporting to work as scheduled and in completing assigned tasks.
Makes efforts to keep informed of company information and communications be reviewing property emails, bulletin boards, and digital signage.
Create a positive work environment for the benefit of the Resort, its customers, and employees.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Two years related experience and/or training; Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills
Ability to create and update maintenance logs and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving few absolute variables in standardized situations.
