Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Sales Operations Analyst to join our team as a contractor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our e-commerce operations by investigating and resolving chargeback disputes efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate cross-functionally (XFN) with teams including Sales, Engineering, Data Science and Operations to gather necessary information and resolve disputes.

Manage and resolve chargeback disputes in a timely and efficient manner

Investigate and analyze chargeback disputes to determine their validity and root causes.

Utilize your strong analytical skills to perform deep dive analysis on transactional and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to contest disputes.

Proactively identify potential issues in the chargeback process and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.

Pull and sanitize data from various sources to conduct comprehensive investigations and derive actionable insights.

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Communicate with customers, merchants, and banks to gather information and resolve disputes

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Identify and address any fraudulent activity or patterns of abuse

Requirements/Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed investigations and data analysis.

Experience in e-commerce and a solid understanding of e-commerce flows and the chargeback process.

The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (XFN) to achieve common goals.

Proactive mindset with a strong ability to identify issues and implement solutions.

Proficiency in pulling, sanitizing, and analyzing data using tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex findings and recommendations.

Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (e.g. PCI-DSS, GDPR)

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience specifically in chargeback disputes management or fraud prevention within e-commerce.

Familiarity with payment processing systems and platforms.

Experience using data visualization tools to present insights (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
