  • Typical Day in the Role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve disputes

  • Manage and resolve chargeback disputes in a timely and efficient manner

  • Investigate and analyze chargeback disputes to determine their validity and root causes

  • Utilize analytical skills to perform deep dive analysis on transactional and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to contest disputes

  • Proactively identify potential issues in the chargeback process and recommend solutions to mitigate risks

  • Pull and sanitize data from various sources to conduct comprehensive investigations and derive actionable insights

  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Identify and address any fraudulent activity or patterns of abuse

    Job Description: We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Sales Operations Analyst to join our team as a contractor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our e-commerce operations by investigating and resolving chargeback disputes efficiently and effectively.

    Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (XFN) with teams including Sales, Engineering, Data Science and Operations to gather necessary information and resolve disputes.

  • Manage and resolve chargeback disputes in a timely and efficient manner

  • Investigate and analyze chargeback disputes to determine their validity and root causes.

  • Utilize your strong analytical skills to perform deep dive analysis on transactional and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to contest disputes.

  • Proactively identify potential issues in the chargeback process and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.

  • Pull and sanitize data from various sources to conduct comprehensive investigations and derive actionable insights.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Communicate with customers, merchants, and banks to gather information and resolve disputes

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

    Requirements/Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed investigations and data analysis.

  • Experience in e-commerce and a solid understanding of e-commerce flows and the chargeback process.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (XFN) to achieve common goals.

  • Proactive mindset with a strong ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
