Premier food company looking for a Maintenance Manager to successfully lead the team.

Client Details

Description

• Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure optimal operation of equipment and machinery in the dairy processing plant.
• Develop, implement, and manage a preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and ensure consistent production.
• Ensure all dairy processing and packaging equipment is operating efficiently and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues when needed.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards (OSHA, FDA, and USDA regulations). Implement safety procedures and protocols to reduce risks in the facility.
• Coordinate timely repair and replacement of machinery, focusing on minimizing production disruptions. Ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Hire, train, and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Work with external contractors and equipment suppliers for specialized repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Oversee the facility's utility systems (e.g., refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, etc.) to ensure optimal energy usage and compliance with environmental regulations.

Profile

• Minimum 5 years in a maintenance management role, preferably in a food manufacturing or dairy processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with experience in dairy-specific equipment such as pasteurizers, homogenizers, and filling machines.
• Certified in maintenance planning (e.g., CMRP) or relevant technical certifications.
• Familiar with USDA, FDA, and HACCP regulations.
• Proven ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on safety and performance improvement.
