Volt is immediately hiring for a Shipping Clerk in Carlsbad, Ca.
Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, pay rate $20.00/hr

As a Shipping Clerk you will:
Pulls or verifies orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment and verifies incoming shipments

• On received goods, compares items and quantities on the packing slip against the purchase order, counts items for verification, and indicates any discrepancies
• Obtain merchandise from warehouse shelves to fill sales orders, carefully verifying identifying information and quantities
• Places items in boxes and wraps so that the packing list is visible
• Cycle count inventory daily
• Performs other duties when required or requested

This is a full time opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees

• Experience with computers and related software
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be detailed oriented
• Ability to lift 40 lbs

Pay rate $20.00/hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
