Responsibilities The Contractor Production Controller works in conjunction with FRCSW DLM Production Control shop leads/supervisors assuring daily production and maintenance objectives are achieved. Responsibilities include ordering components/parts/consumable/hardware, staging aircraft components/modification kits, tracking shortages, assisting in resolving constraints, generating reporting data and coordinating across organizational lines as needed for assuring success. The contractor will be assigned in the F-18 Program, Building 36, and will generally be ordering, receiving, and issuing parts, and general supplies. Contractor will be trained, and expected to learn, to fully utilize the current operating computer systems (i.e., CONOPS, MTO) to account for all governments supplies and inventory records for all parts in warehouses and storerooms. Contractor personnel shall be able to use computer systems to ensure all repair parts are accurately ordered, received, and issued. For supplies they provide warehousing, inventory management and transportation skills. Duties include ordering, receiving, and issuing parts, general supplies; current operating computer systems (i.e., CONOPS, MTO) to account for all governments supplies and inventory records for all parts in warehouses and storerooms. Considerable knowledge of material processes and Kitting procedures coupled with assembly operations utilized in production shops. Must have knowledge of the interdependency of each FRCSW building and the workload it supports. Be proficient and have knowledge in explaining the various production reports and associated criteria. Be able to obtain forklift license. Contractor receives instructions on priorities. Contractor should seek guidance from higher level production controller or supervisor involving deviation from process or unusual situations. Contractors will be pushing pick lists via CONOPs for ordering material. Contractor will also be required to make the necessary moves of sub-routes and close lines in CONOPs. Contractor is provided with detailed written and oral instructions for all assigned tasks. Will use BOE to pull up Shortage Reports and Dispatch Reports for their respective shops. Contractor is provided with detailed written and oral instructions for all assigned tasks. Contractor will complete SDR's for material credit. Contractor will also be executing shipping documents (1149), MRB/Survey's (Material Review Board), and CODE G items. Contractor will also be responsible for ensuring that all material in a Delay code is correct and concise. Contractor is provided with detailed written and oral instructions for all assigned tasks. Contractor will also be required to be proficient with the Universal Call Board and its support function to all the production shops. The Production Controller will also be required to be knowledgeable in ASRS (Automated Storage Retrieval System) for the various kitting areas that ASRS is deployed. Adequate experience performing the duties of the labor category as described in the Department of Labor functional description. Services Contract Act (SCA) - 21030 Qualifications Education / Certifications: Require a high school diploma or its equivalent Experience: Minimum 2 years Production Control job experience or military experience as Storekeeper equivalent. Other Requirements: Must be a US Citizen Must be able to pass a NACI which could include a credit check. To be able to perform research, a working knowledge with the following is preferred: electronic publications like Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM), knowledge in navigating NATEC website to access Technical Publications, service bulletins, technical publications, blueprints, IPB (Illustrated Parts Breakdown), MIM (Maintenance Instruction), LES (Local Engineering Specifications), LPS (Local Process Specifications) and TEI (Temporary Engineering Instructions). Business Partner/Effective Communicator: English language skills to communicate with costumers. Strong communicator must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally. Ability to train others. Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability. The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company. USD $71,000 - $75,000 Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
