Our client in the technology industry is seeking a Sourcing Manager to join their team. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be part of the procurement team supporting the Global Sourcing & Supply Manager. The ideal candidate will have superb communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to make quick decisions and solve complex problems.

Location: Cupertino, CA

What's the Job?

Develop a nuanced understanding of the commodity landscape in order to forecast industry trends and gauge emerging competitive forces.

Identify changes in buyer and supplier power and use industry dynamics .

Perform supplier financial research, spend analysis and ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic procurement deals.

Understand contract T&C redlines and business and commercial implication.

Conduct contract T&C negotiations with suppliers effectively and timely.

What's Needed?

BA/BS degree plus 5+ years of work experience, Masters degree or MBA preferred.

A tenacity, passion and demonstrated skill in negotiations.

Can build, grow and develop key cross-functional relationships to be able to influence and drive projects.

Experience in supplier management and operations and ability to solve complex supply chain issues a plus.

End to end ownership of contract negotiations for both commercial and legal aspects a plus.
