Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer orientated Operations Site Manager (Naval Air Field El Centro, CA ) to join our team supporting NSWC Corona Range Systems Department to manage the Naval Integrated Training Environment (NITE) contract . This position will work onsite at a government facility on NAF El Centro, CA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reports d irectly to the Wes t Coast Program M anager; will be a manager of managers. Manage s a team of ManTech and sub-contractor support personnel supporting the NITE contract in the day-to-day performance of their jobs . Supports operations at NAS Fallon and NAS Lemoore. Coordinates with Wes t Coast Program Manager, NITE Management Staff, Maintenance Manager, and RS Range Managers f or Team daily /weekly and long-range work assignments and support requirements. Manages the activities of training sites. Develops and implements policies and procedures as well as ensures compliance with these procedures. Evaluates activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. May coordinate communication between different functions . Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Enforces work standards, assigns contractor schedules, reviews work discrepancies, supervises contractor personnel, and communicates policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Supports a team environment based on mutual respect and teamwork, dedicated to innovation and effective, efficient work practices. Supports the Task Order Program Manager in providing overall excellent contract performance to the client as outlined by CPAR. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 7 y ears of DoD training Range Experience 3 years of professional experience in managerial experience on DoD efforts Experience managing dispersed workforce in support of DoD training range requirements Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related field Familiarity with the United States Navy Familiarity with synthetic training environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, W ord) Clearance Requirements: Secret Physical Requirements: Little travel anticipated Work will require movement between government sites in Hampton Roads area for client meetings and support functions. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which will involve delivering presentations. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,700.00-$185,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
