100% Onsite in El Segundo, CA, Annapolis, MD or Tukwila, WA

The Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) organization is currently seeking a high performing versatile and experienced System Administrator to join a new and rapidly growing program in one of the following locations: El Segundo, CA (preferred), Tukwila, WA, Huntington Beach CA, or Fairfax, Virginia. The Information Technology Infrastructure & Operations team provides and employs best practices when implementing security requirements within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques to protect classified and proprietary information. Opportunities include development and integration of a variety of system hardware and software application(s) supporting our engineering and manufacturing teams. Working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results, this position requires a positive attitude, self-motivation, the ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs computing delivery system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture.

• Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems.

• Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems.

• Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements.

• Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning.

Mentors, leads and trains others.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartment Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance. (U.S. Citizenship Required.)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

A U.S. TS/SCI security clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 7+ years of experience administering user system access and establishing safeguards to protect information to meet network security requirements

• 7+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2016 - 2019 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 10 and/or Unix/Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/Oracle) server/workstation

• 7+ years of experience working in a lab test, factory test, or similar test environment

• Experience working on classified networks and understanding Risk Management Framework (RMF)

• Active Counter Intelligence (CI) polygraph with the ability to obtain a Full Scope Polygraph

• Active Security+ or the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of your start date

• Able to travel 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs)

• Experience with active directory (AD) to include applying domain group policies

• Experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware

• Experience developing PowerShell scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets, automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

• Experience in Agile Methodologies

• Experience with System Backups, Network switch configuration,

• Experience with upgrades and patches for operating systems and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software

Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.

Ability to pass Background and Drug Screen if Required by Client

Education/Experience:
