Project Management Analyst, Power Marketing This position requires an active DOE Public Trust or the ability to obtain a DOE Public Trust The Power Marketing Project Manager will support Western Area power Administration's statutory mission is to market and deliver cost-based hydroelectric power and related services. They shall provide guidance, plans, and procedures to enable successful project management within SNR in accordance with Western Project Management Guidelines, Standards and provided tools. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Management Analyst, Power Marketing: $125,000 - $135,000 annually Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Project Management Analyst, Power Marketing Responsibilities Include: Support Provide technical leadership of assigned tasks/projects, including planning, scheduling, requirements analysis, risk analysis, contract and resource management, and budget and financial activities utilizing project management principles, methods, and standards. Perform high-level technical services on assigned tasks such as reporting, budgeting, and task projections. Schedule and 16 direct activities to ensure quality deliverables; conduct planning and provides recommendations on task workload. Coordinate, facilitate, and attend meetings, including technical planning and review meetings, and develop and distribute meeting notes. Serve as a liaison interacting with vendors, other agencies, and other staff. Coordinate development of deliverables and products and ensures quality assurance of project deliverables. Lead the design and development of systems, applications, and/or databases; perform systems analysis and makes recommendation based on findings. Provide technical subject matter expertise in assigned functional area. Ensure compliance with relevant industry and government policies and standards and maintains all necessary documentation related to assigned tasks and projects. Perform horizontal integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems. Analyze, develop, and document business and software processes, requirements, test scripts, and tasks. Provide status reports for progress on assigned tasks, identification of any issues and concerns and recommendations for improvement. Minimum Skills/Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' experience with managing and scheduling projects that include technology upgrades and enhancements. Minimum of 3 years of experience demonstrating the ability to utilize soft skills to engage a diverse staff, resolve conflicts, and execute projects through completion. Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Management or related Microsoft Office Suite Proficient This position requires an active DOE Public Trust or the ability to obtain a DOE Public Trust Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Must be adept at successful project execution with strong focus on customer satisfaction and delivering technical solutions to customers. Preferred experience in organized markets (CAISO, MISO, SPP), utility industry knowledge, and IT technology initiatives. Knowledge of federal PMA's is preferred. PMP certification, preferred. Working experience with Information Technology AGILE and Waterfall practices Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred but not required.
