Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 DoE

Responsibilities:
Stellant Systems currently has an opening for an onsite Sr Accounting Associate at our Folsom, California location. In this position, you will assist the site with general accounting and reporting requirements.

Prepare general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.

Responsible for elements of month-end close and month-end financial reports.

Assist with reporting and interpreting financial and operating data for management.

Review financial data for accuracy; identify problems and support day-to-day operations.

Assist in adoption of new accounting standards including but not limited to researching standard, preparing written accounting policy for company.

Assist with company cash flow analysis including but not limited to tracking cash flow activity, preparing reports, and analyzing information for management.

Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis for management.

Support policy development and offer advice regarding accounting and internal control issues, reporting needs, and policy review and changes.

Assist with reporting and variance analysis regarding departmental operating budget versus actual expenses.

Assist with annual external audits.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to apply analysis skills to problems

Must possess excellent Excel skills
