Volt is immediately hiring a 2nd Shift - Production Manufacturing Supervisor in Gardena, CA.
We are seeking a Production Manufacturing Supervisor to join our dynamic team at one of the top food manufacturing companies in the industry! In this vital role, you will oversee and optimize production processes, ensuring smooth operations, safety, and top-tier quality. Prior experience supervising a production line is essential for this position.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Shift: 4/10 schedule, 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 3:00 AM), with rotating and flexible days.
• Hourly Pay Rate: $28 - $32/Hr. plus daily overtime opportunities.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Qualifications:

• Experience Supervising a Production Line: Prior experience in directly managing a production line is essential.
• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, with proven supervisory experience.
• Food Manufacturing experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Production Line: Lead production employees to ensure all operations run efficiently and on time.
• Employee Management: Train, assign work, appraise performance, and address concerns to drive a motivated team culture.
• Safety & Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, ensuring compliance in every product.
• Production Targets: Meet production goals, achieving case counts and product yield in line with company guidelines.
• Reporting & Documentation: Generate and file reports per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Resource Management: Optimize the use of your team, including Superintendent III, utility operators, and machine operators, to maximize efficiency.
