Raytheon - Advance Products Solution (APS) is seeking a Program Manager - Principal Specialist (Program Management) to manage program activity within the Raytheon Vision Systems - Tactical Missiles and Seeker S ub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). What You Will Do: Manage key activities within assigned programs Serve as Proposal Lead for new contracts; manage program-level proposal development process from kickoff through contract award Coordinate program reviews, meetings, internal handoffs and customer deliveries Partner with Integrated Product Team (IPT) on scope implementation and resolution of issues Collaborate cross functionally to establish working relationships with team members in contracts, finance, planning, engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations Identify and implement key program metrics and cultivate corrective actions as required What You Will Learn : Program Management Excellence techniques and CORE principle best practices Operating with a growth mindset to support critical business needs in an exciting and fast paced environment Honing presentation and communication skills to influence stakeholders and cross functional relationships Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience Experience with program/project management or related experience, managing cost, schedules or technical performance on a program E xperience supporting proposal activities Experience with one or more of the following: financial and problem analysis, C ost Account Manager (CAM), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Estimate at Completion (EACs), Risk & Opportunity Management Ex perience working with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, P owerP oint, etc) An active and transferrable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance Qualifications We Prefer: Experience in proposal development activities, responding to Request for Information (RFIs), and supporting negotiations Prior experience supporting development, production and/or sustainment programs Experience in cross functional communication and leadership Demonstrated experience in contracts management Program Management Certified Level 5 or Equivalent, or ability to obtain within 12 months What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions participants will be eligible for a career at RTX. We Are RTX The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
