Interventional Radiology Locums Job in Grass Valley, California Assignment Schedule/Shift times: 8am-4:30pm with potential night call after 4:30pm Dates needed: September 22, 24-28 September 29 and October 1-5 October 6, 8-12 November 3, 5-9 November 10, 12-16 November 17, 19-23 November 24, 26-30 December 15, 17-21 December 22, 24-28 Job Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible State License required Residency Requirements/Fellowship residency required Other Certifications BLS and DEA required during credentialing. CA Fluoroscopy required at submission. Availability at time of name clear required Job Details: Setting: General Acute Care Hospital (Stroke Certified, not Chest Pain Center accredited, not a Trauma Level designation) Duties: Hospital coverage, we have a need for a Radiologist to cover the Hospital which involves the IR needs along with Stroke CT's and other procedures/availability. Required Procedures: IR Procedures (Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters); CT/US Biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, Other), Barium studies, Lumbar punctures. EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Nurses and Techs; We do have a large Radiology group in Sacramento that performs overflow and after-hours reads Deal breakers: Procedural Skills, Acute Care Imaging capability (Stroke CT's, ED and ICU imaging studies) Admissions per day: 12-15 Patients/day: ED daily volume is 85-90 patients/day, average daily inpatient/OBs Census is 50 patients (includes ICU and OB). Types of cases: Surgical, Medical, ICU, and OB Breakdown of Daily Work: CT s: 15-20,
