Direct Hire
$100k- $140k year plus bonus
Immediate hire at a fantastic growing company. Will be responsible for hands-on general ledger accounting and performing financial review, reconciliation and analysis. Maintains reconciliation schedules for GL accounts and prepares financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Handle fixed asset / depreciation schedule, monthly amortizations and other journal entries into ERP system, and assists with invoicing, inventory reconciliations. Coordinates and manages year-end audit activities. Coordinates and manages various statutory reporting such as sales & use tax, property tax, and DCAA cost reporting. Works with accounting staff and other departments (purchasing, warehouse, and sales) to assure the integrity, accuracy of reporting on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Performs financial analysis, budgets and forecasts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, strongly preferred BA in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years of experience in a mid to senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting expert in debits and credits and how various GL accounts interact with other GL accounts
• Technically proficient in MS Office products, including strong MS Excel skills, and similar types of spreadsheet software products
• Experience working in manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working on a small team
• High degree of comfort utilizing Pivot Tables and VLookup
• Enjoys working with data and performing analyses, also willing to perform routine tasks
• Conscientious; takes pride in accurate work
• Solid communication skills
