Overview:
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain to join our Healdsburg or Folsom, California team.

The Senior Supply Chain Manager provides leadership to multiple matrixed teams across Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Finance and the Program Management Office to drive improved supplier performance. This position is for an experienced supply chain management professional, managing relationships with key suppliers to drive on time delivery of products and leading projects focused on optimizing procurement practices, subcontract management and supplier performance. This is a full-time on-site position.

Major Position Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Manager will report to the Sr. Manager, Operations, and lead the implementation and execution of the Supply Chain strategy. In this capacity, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop suppliers and manage supplier risk - in response to current and forecasted needs for assigned business area;

Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement goals, including RFQs, negotiations (subcontracts/PO's), proposals, cost accountability and/or program/project execution;

Work in concert with Contracts, Supplier Quality, Finance and Program Management Office to deliver operational excellence and ensure achievement of business objectives;

Brief leadership and program team on supplier metrics and program/project status

Lead projects to optimize procurement practices and continuous improvement

Serve as supply chain lead for responding to internal and external audits regarding supply chain policies and procedures;

Align staff resources and activities to provide efficient execution of assigned responsibilities; and

Lead, develop, and manage staff to support cost, quality and efficient execution of assigned responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, Advanced Degree preferred.

Experience of working in Aerospace/Defense in a supervisory capacity

Knowledge of supply chain, vendor management, materials management, Risk Assessment/Mitigation

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and in an organized manner, with strong customer service focus.

Ability to lead complex supply chain sourcing and procurement activities (e.g. RFX development and management; supplier qualification and management; contract formulation and negotiation; etc.)

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and foster strong working relationships across multiple organizations.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Pay Range (USD):
$101,000 - $185,900 annually

Pay Transparency Statement:
The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process.

Additional Compensation:
Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
