The Role

This role is dynamic and cross-functional. CQEs interact with the customer facing and operations organizations at multiple levels. This role is high impact, high output, and high visibility that requires a calm-assertive demeanor and the capability to manage ever-changing priorities.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Collaborate with the cross-functional teams on customer issue management, customer product specification management, and customer specification negotiation in coordination with Product Management and customer change management.

Develop expertise on customer requirements and factory manufacturing processes to enable streamlined customer support and satisfaction.

Support customer requests collaborating with other engineering teams to better understand and respond to requests. This will require engagement ranging from collecting and organizing. informational responses to working on or collaborating with internal engineers on continuous improvement projects.

Coordinate customer issue escalation support with structured problem solving (8D, 5Why, FMEA, etc.) to help identify root causes and develop and execute or coordinate CAPA.

Work with customer facing teams to support customer audits by helping with preparation and facilitation.

Provide support for various customer related documentation expectations such as process documents, item tracking, performance reporting.

Strong knowledge of QMS tools and NCMR processes.

Be part of a cross-functional team that is designed to improve success of FUJIFILM Electronic Materials with our customers. Maximize customer satisfaction by resolving quality issues with urgency and transparency, clarifying quality expectations, and driving ongoing improvements that deliver value and build trust and confidence.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Material Science Engineering and 10 to 15 years of experience in chemical or equivalent manufacturing required.

Nine plus years of experience will be considered with a Master's degree.

Specialization in Quality Systems and Statistics is a plus.

Must have experience working directly with external parties at various levels on Quality Management.

Experience in semiconductor, microelectronics, automotive, or high-tech industry a plus.

Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.

Broad knowledge of quality management systems, ISO compliance, audits.

Understanding of chemical and material metrology lab and measurement systems.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written/presentations) at all levels.

A good working knowledge of statistics and applicable quality methodologies is required (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis, etc.)

Must have excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel and statistical software tools)

Working knowledge of JMP statistical software is especially desirable; SAP knowledge helpful

Visits to other manufacturing sites and customer sites per business requirement

Strong influencing and negotiation skills are required & ability to develop and foster strong business relationships.

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and must possess a sense of urgency in satisfying internal and external customer needs.

Organizational skills - Ability to multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy, the ability to work and sustain attention with distractions and interruptions, the ability to perform in situations requiring speed, deadlines or productivity quotas.

PAY RANGE: The pay range for this role is estimated at $135,000/yr. - $145,000/yr. with actual wage based on candidate's qualifications and experience.
