Akkodis is seeking a CAD DESIGNER SENIOR for a Contract job with a client in Irvine CA. Ideally looking for an expert in SolidWorks with strong mechanical design and drafting skills to support medical device product development. Responsibilities include developing and updating CAD models, applying GD&T, and collaborating with R&D and manufacturing teams.

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

CAD DESIGNER SENIOR job responsibilities include:

• Develop and update CAD models and drawings for medical devices.

• Apply GD&T and Design for Manufacturing principles

• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams.

• Support product remediation projects and ensure accurate design documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required, no higher education required.

• Advanced/Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks.

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design.

• Experience in medical device design and manufacturing processes.

Pay Details: $46.00 to $48.00 per hour
