Role Summary:
The Furniture & Styling team is part of Rivian's Brand Experience group, we are focused on the physical touchpoints of the brand, from Retail, Events and Service to Workplace and everything in between.

As a Design Manager, Furniture and Styling you bring holistic brand experiences to life from concept to execution. You tackle a multitude of projects that vary in scale and complexity, from national retail roll-outs to highly curated, bespoke projects. You are responsible for strategy and building process while supporting creative design work. Our ideal candidate is a collaborative, strategic thinker with a solid understanding of interior design practices and has experience in FF&E sourcing and vendor management.

Responsibilities:
Manage FF&E projects from start to finish, collaborating with Rivian's broader Design, Construction and Purchasing teams

Research and gain knowledge of sustainable materials and practices

Strategize and assist designers with building design standards and guidelines for scale

Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, including dealer partners, custom millworkers, vintage refurbishing shops and accessories
suppliers

Compose image/mood boards

Partner with Rivian's purchasing team on all FF&E procurement - assist in writing RFPs, reviewing quotes and responses, awarding vendors,
NDAs, General Terms & Conditions, Warranty agreements

Lead oversight of project health throughout its full lifecycle - Develop consistent status reporting tools and detailed analysis across projects

Accountable for project management and administrative support - schedule management, planning, itemized project budgets, management
tracking of all POs/invoices, payment schedules

Develop and oversee strategic inventory management plan in conjunction with broader Design and Operations teams

Review architectural drawings, design details, finish samples, RFIs, equipment specifications and furniture

Perform as needed site visits and field verification measurements

Optimize and coordinate transport for national and international logistics (road and sea freight) and ensure the continuous optimization of
shipping

Attend and oversee the final implementation of delivery/installation of furniture, facilitate styling and placement of accessories, interior
planting, and art hanging

Qualifications:
3+ years of furniture design, interior design, architectural or interior styling experience, FF&E procurement experience is a plus

A college degree in architecture, interior design, business or directly related field

Strong organizational and communication skills with an ability to juggle multiple projects in various phases

Demonstrated the ability to analyze, evaluate and report on the tasks at hand

Fluency with material and finish standards for commercial use

Experience in all phases of design from concept through execution with strong knowledge of detailing, materials, and applicable regulatory
codes

Strong organizational and communication skills with an ability to juggle multiple projects in various phases

Technology driven - proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Knowledge of Coupa Procurement System and AutoCAD a plus

You love solving big problems, a systems thinker with confidence managing strategic projects

Be resourceful, innovative and proactive and have the ability to work in a team environment, under tight deadlines

Willingness to travel to job sites and vendors

Pay Disclosure:
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $77,800 to $97,300 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
