Solventum is seeking Electro Mechanic A candidates to join our team in Irvine CA!

• Starting Pay: $42.80 - $43.82/hour plus Shift Premium (if applicable)

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Electro Mechanic A, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and components, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, and web handling systems.
• Performing preventive maintenance, basic machining, pipefitting and millwright tasks and welding and fabrication tasks.
• Installing and upgrading equipment and maintaining pumps.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment and components,
• Maintaining and troubleshooting power and distribution systems.
• Programming and troubleshooting using programming devices.
• Operating a personal computer (Load/remove programs, creating and modifying spreadsheets, databases for historical trending, word processing databases).

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (complete prior to start).
• Minimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance experience
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Ability to work either a first, second or third shift (depending on shift availability).

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Two-year (2) technical degree or, technical knowledge and practical application skills in mechanical, electrical, or electronics disciplines at a level normally acquired through formal training in two-to-four years of vocational education and/or as part of an established apprenticeship program.
• Knowledge and skills of mechanical concepts at a level required to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and devices.
• Knowledge and skills of Electrical concepts at a level required to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and devices.
• Experience with maintenance, systems, technician, electro mechanic, or mechanic.
