Job description

Our client is seeking an Escrow Assistant to join their team to manage the closing process for mortgage refinancing transactions across multiple states. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in processing refinance escrow files, including preparing closing disclosures and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities:

Review and prepare estimated closing disclosures (CDs).
Prepare files for signing and monitor the closing process.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
Ensure all necessary information is ordered, accurate, complete, and compliant.
Resolve title issues and balance files prior to closing.
Prepare and submit closed loan packages, disbursement documentation, recording packages, and final policy packages to the appropriate internal department.
Prepare Consumer Disclosures (CD), develop fee sheets, and approve fees on the CD and other required documents.
Job Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience processing refinance escrow files on a national scale.
Experience in preparing/producing CDs, balancing refinance transactions, scheduling notaries, and setting up files for disbursement.
Extreme attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of emails; excellent service levels and a positive attitude are essential.
