Job description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Practice Physician's Assistant (PA) to join our team at Friends of Family Health Center's Women's Clinics. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families, ensuring access to comprehensive primary healthcare services in a culturally competent manner.
Responsibilities:
Primary treatment related to womens health.
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.
Provide preventive care, including immunizations, screenings, and health education.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, managing a diverse patient population.
Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with state regulations.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and enhance health outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs.
Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in family healthcare.
All other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Master s degree in PA Studies or Clinical Health Services from an accredited program.
Current Physician's Assistant certification with a focus on Family Practice.
Valid state PA license.
Experience in a primary care setting, preferably in a community health or FQHC environment.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to cultural competence.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Experience with underserved populations and community health initiatives.
Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
