Job description

Duties You will perform installation, functional operation, trouble analysis and final alignment of integrated communication-navigation-identification systems accomplishing a number of major functions in a wide variety of aircraft. You will interpret test results in a typical display control and monitor system and analyze feedback and control functions in a complex informational loop where a variety of sub-group systems depend on integrated feedback and control. You will make functional test, interpret and apply a wide variety of technical data, evaluate operational characteristics by observing and analyzing display data, waveforms, voltage/current/power, instrument readings, etc. You will work on systems such as electronic counter measures, secured data transmission, tactical data systems, communication and navigation systems, search radar, inertial navigation systems, etc. You will install and connect control motors, generators, inverters, relays, distribution panels, junction boxes, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, terminal strips etc. You will analyze work orders request for the manufacture or repair of aircraft electrical systems or equipment. You will perform routine disassembly repair, modification, assembly, test, installation, and maintenance of aircraft electrical systems. You will analyze circuits working from the system integration schematics and wiring or logic diagrams to facilitate repair of the aircraft. You will be required to have regular and predictable attendance, which is an essential function of the position. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. (4) Ability to perform advanced repair, inspection, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on electronic integrated systems and related electrical systems. (5) Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools common to the electronic trade. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence. I have the ability to perform the full range of tasks including (1) Knowledge of advanced principles in electronics to analyze faults and errors involving complex multi-systems. (2) Ability to analyze circuits working from schematics, blueprints, and wiring and logic diagrams to identify malfunctions. (3) Ability to test aircraft integrated avionics and electrical systems. (4) Ability to perform advanced repair, inspection, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on electronic integrated systems and related electrical systems. (5) Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools common to the electronic trade. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection. I have the ability to perform common tasks including (1) Knowledge of advanced principles in electronics to analyze faults and errors involving complex multi-systems. (2) Ability to analyze circuits working from schematics, blueprints, and wiring and logic diagrams to identify malfunctions. (3) Ability to test aircraft integrated avionics and electrical systems. (4) Ability to perform advanced repair, inspection, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on electronic integrated systems and related electrical systems. (5) Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools common to the electronic trade I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
