Project Manager Responsibilities:

Oversee planning and execution of medium to large sized project(s) in Finance domain to deliver on intended outcomes, iteratively planning the execution of any new ideas and requirements approved to maximize ROI.

Collaborate with IT Business Partner(s) and Digital Capability Managers (DCMs) to define project team(s)

Working with necessary cross functional resources enterprise wide, coordinate the deliverance of several upstream and downstream dependencies, while proactively removing impediments to drive outcomes.

Manage project deliverables, schedules, governance, vendors providing services ensuring they meet their execution milestones within cost estimates.

Prepare and provide routine readout of project status reports to keep project sponsors informed of project health (including performance, potential risks/impediments to influence appropriate remediation decision).

Monitor and control project schedule and financials.

Monitor project expenses and report on cost variances.

Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.

Report on project progress, KPIs, and outcomes to senior management.

Requirements

Must be willing to work onsite in Livermore, CA

Strong background in financial operations and reporting in pharma industry.

Solid grasp of portfolio and program framework

Experience reporting Project/Program status to senior leadership.

Strong Stakeholder building and relationship skills.

Strong vendor management skills

Strong communication skills.

Strong Risk Management skills.

Strong Team Management Skills.

Data analytical and integration experience desired.

PMP, or equivalent certification preferred. Agile experience desired, but not required.

Experience in Project and Portfolio management tool ServiceNow is required.

5+ years of experience in IT Project Management.

Experience managing teams, including remote team members.

Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.

Experience managing budgets up to $3MM.

PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, but not required.

ITIL certification preferred, but not required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle issues that occur during project execution.

Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget

Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Project, and other project management tools.

Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work with a variety of personality types.

The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

$102,410 to $129,826
