Volt is immediately hiring for Inventory Clerk in Long Beach, CA.
As a Inventory Clerk you will:

  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and record results using a handheld device.
  • Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to investigate and resolve discrepancies by identifying their root causes.
  • Report discrepancies and issues to the Inventory Control and Warehouse Management teams.
  • Verify quantities, lot numbers, revisions, and other product attributes as requested by different teams within the organization.
  • Assist with warehouse reorganization projects to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stock materials in their designated inventory locations.
  • Keep the workplace and warehouse clean, neat, and orderly.

This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous forklift experience is required.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English is essential.
  • Requires 1-3 years of experience in Warehouse, Distribution, or Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
  • Capable of lifting or pushing up to 55 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook is advantageous.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Must be open to overtime
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
