Job description

Overview:
The Office Supervisor (Resource Center Supervisor) maintains and oversees the daily operations of the Resource Center, provides campus human resources support in conjunction with the HR Business Partner, provides administrative support for the campus and guides and supervises Resource Center staff. The Resource Center provides additional educational services and supports student success while attending UTI.

Responsibilities:
Maintains and oversee daily operations of the Resource Center by preserving the budget; keeping up-to-date with curriculum changes and ordering, receiving, and controlling all inventories; maintaining accurate records; and providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and vendors.

Manages Resource Center staff to be successful by effective hiring and disciplining staff; delegating and prioritizing daily work providing coaching, guidance and development opportunities to staff members.

Ensures UTI is complaint and following accreditation and licensing standards.

Acts as campus Human Resources Coordinator ensuring employee files are uptodate and doing new hire orientation

Establish/maintain a high performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metrics.

Recognizes and rewards employee contributions and achievements.

Other duties as assigned.

• Salary of $66,560-$70,000 depending on experience

Qualifications:
Education / Experience

High School diploma or GED required

3 - 5 years professional experience

2 years prior Supervisory experience preferred

Skills

Computer Skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Builds and delivers solutions that meet customer expectations.

People and supervisory skills and abilities

Time management skills and deadline oriented, can adapt to a changing fast-paced environment

Abilities

Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds or less 5% of the workday

Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday

Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workday

Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.

Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.

Work Environment

Work is performed indoors in a climate controlled environment.
