Hyve HCM is searching for a dedicated Optometry Office Manager to oversee our clients administrative operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the office, supporting both the staff and the patients.

Your primary duties will include managing office staff, coordinating schedules, overseeing patient appointments, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining accurate medical records. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing budgets and facilitating communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily office operations to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

Maintain and manage medical records with a focus on accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Coordinate medical billing processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of patient accounts.

Assist in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.

Provide support to the medical staff as needed, facilitating communication and coordination among team members.

Maintain a clean and organized office environment to enhance productivity.

Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Assist with scheduling and appointment management to optimize staff time and patient flow.

Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.

Prepare reports and documents as required, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Medical Office Manager or similar role

Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical terminology

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team

Effective communication skills and customer service orientation

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

A degree in healthcare administration or related field (preferred)

Certifications in medical office management (preferred)
