Job Overview:
As the Records Management and Imagining Services Team Administrative Assistant II you would assist with coordinating and operating assigned administrative activities. This position would require you to interact with employees and outside personnel requesting record maintenance, and program procedure updates. Assist with closely coordinating customer needs or various assigned tasks of the District's records management activities, assists with a budget, purchasing, travel, meeting planning, training, general administrative support duties, and follow-up, etc. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Records Management and Imaging Services Team Manager and works in conjunction with records coordinators and other staff.
Schedule: 9/80, Monday through Friday with every other Friday off
Hybrid: Metropolitan's current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or high school certificate of equivalency and five years of relevant experience; or Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and three years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and one year of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Administrative Assistant I classification.
Relevant Experience is defined as: ensuring requirements of records are in compliance; classifying and indexing records; and destroying and/or archiving data.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver's License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
