Job description

One of California's leading Employment Law boutique law firms is looking for labor and employment attorneys with demonstrated academic success, experience in civil litigation, and a passion for helping employees protect their rights. Ideal candidates will have experience managing all aspects of litigation including written discovery, conducting depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiation and/or trial preparation. Associates work closely with senior attorneys and are trusted with a significant amount of responsibility as the direct contact for clients. This is a great opportunity for associate attorneys looking to advance their career with a well-recognized law firm.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member and in good standing of the California State Bar
• 2-5 years of litigation experience representing employees in wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, or related labor and employment disputes
• Experience drafting relevent legal correspondence, conducting depositions, attending hearings and court appearances, and trial preparation
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks throughout litigation while meeting deadlines efficiently
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, works well on a team
