Overview of the Bookkeeper role:

  • Prepare and maintain various financial records, ensuring proper transaction recording
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Process payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
  • Maintain assets and liabilities on the balance sheet
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger
  • Support external/internal audits and tax preparation

Preferred qualifications for the Bookkeeper role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related accounting field preferred
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Keen attention to detailed accuracy.
  • 1+ years of experience in an accounting role.
