Job description

A QA/QC Engineer follows up on the daily implementation of construction and to ensure that quality of the work being delivered by the project team is in compliance with project quality plan, procedures and instructions. In addition to monitoring and managing the quality of the project, a QA/QC engineer implements and safely executes commissioning and handover the relevant systems and phases of the project on schedule, per specifications and on budget.

Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Identify and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of quality control processes and inspection results.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on all job sites.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Quality Management or a related field is a plus.
