Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Sr. (Soarian)for one of our direct clients in the US. Below are the specs for the role:

Work Location: Los Angeles, CA 90032 (Remote OK; Local candidates will be prioritized)

Duration: Open for both Direct Hire and Contract Opportunity of 6+ Months

Pay Rate Range: Up to $120,000 per Year for Direct Hire and $62.00/hr on W2 for Contract

Work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Interview Process: 2 -3 steps Video/ Teams interview process

Job Description:

Education/Experience:

A bachelor's degree or a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.

At least 5 years of relevant revenue cycle experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience in an IS healthcare setting.

Experience with 2 full life cycle implementations (from scoping/planning through to go-live support).

At least 3 years of Soarian Application experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience with HL7, Patient Access, and Revenue Cycle systems.

Technical Expertise:

Ability to troubleshoot Soarian interface issues and third-party applications.

Experience with systems like PBAR, MedSeries4, Change Healthcare, nThrive, and PatientKeeper (with focus on scheduling, registration, HIM coding, patient accounting, and billing).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience in creating and maintaining reports using tools like IBM Showcase, QlikView, Cerner Command Language (CCL), OnDemand, and Siemens MedSeries4.

Project Management & Leadership:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Ability to lead small to medium projects, facilitate team and cross-functional meetings, and deliver results on time and within budget.

Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently and completing tasks independently.

Customer Service & Teamwork:

Strong focus on customer service, capable of addressing user questions, concerns, and resolving system issues efficiently.

Excellent communication skills, able to work closely with internal department users, vendors, and peers.

Analytical & Problem Solving Skills:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to design solutions, develop scope, and solve problems related to system workflows and revenue cycle processes.

Knowledge of performance improvement techniques, innovation in solving system issues, and identifying business transformation opportunities.

On-Call Availability:

Must be willing to fulfill on-call responsibilities and handle other duties as assigned.

Summary:

The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Senior will work with external vendors, system owners, community partners, contractors, and Client Medicine leadership to design, develop, implement and make operational revenue cycle information systems including but not limited to PBAR, Siemens MedSeries 4, Cerner, Change Healthcare, nThrive (MedAssets) Suite, Relay Assurance Plus, Visiquate, GE Centricity, PatientKeeper and others. This incumbent will identify and document information technology design specifications based on analysis/assessment of user needs and generate need-gap analyses. This person will use expert knowledge to generate and develop system scope and objective, analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems and devise or modify procedures to solve problems Using data processing.

In addition, the Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Senior acts as an application administrator by ensuring data integrity, maintaining system security, extracting, analyzing and transforming data, facilitating user/vendor communication, and managing software upgrades, implementations and/or conversions. The Rev Cycle Application Analyst Senior also understands the functional workflow and processes of the Departments (s)he supports and maintains system functionality and design in support of workflow efficiency and user/department productivity.

The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Senior will also balance their time primarily between direct customer service and project related activities. They will also analyze, plan, design, create and maintain intermediate to advance level reports Client's various technologies including but not limited to IBM Showcase, QlikView, Cerner Command Language (CCL), OnDemand, and Siemens MedSeries 4 Query/Reports. The Rev Cycle Application Analyst Senior will work independently on complex system activities as well as project management activities.

Minimum Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or 9 years of relevant experience if no bachelor's degree

• Minimum 5 years relevant revenue cycle experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IS Healthcare setting

• Experience with 2 full life cycle implementations (from scoping/planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, go-live support) required

• Minimum of 3 years of Soarian Application experience

• Must have at least 3 years HL7, Patient Access, and Revenue Cycle experience

• Ability to troubleshoot Soarian interface and 3rd party applications required

• Good organization skills with ability to prioritize multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment.

• Strong customer service focus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).

• Familiarity and experience 3M, PBAR, MedSeries4, Change Healthcare, nThrive, Patient Keeper experience, and/or Revenue Cycle experience (Scheduling, Registration, HIM coding & abstracting, Patient Accounting and Billing) a plus.
